Suspected herdsmen kill one, kidnap five in Osun State

An attack by suspected herdsmen on Esa-Oke community of Osun State has left one dead and five others still missing.

The attack, which occurred on Tuesday, also left many home deserted by people due to fear of unknown.

Expresgist gathered that a staff of Osun State College of Technology, Mr Olaniyi Emmanuel Temitope, who was on his way back home from work, was shot dead by the gunmen.

A statement released by the Director of Media of the institution revealed that the five kidnapped victims are all staffs of the institution.

There names are: Mr Olaleye Olalekan – Business Administration department; Engr. Adeyeoluwa Bankole – HOD civil engineering; Dr Jesuola Ajibola – Director ventures; Adenreti Chukwu – secretary to civil engineering department and Rachael Onyinocha Akinboboye – OSCOTECH Microfinance Bank.
