A man identified as Lawan Faro, Wednesday, climbed a 40-meter-tall billboard to protest against the hardship in the country.
Lawal who is from Yola, Adamawa state capital, vowed never to come down unless President Muhammadu Buhari resigns.
He, however, accepted to come down if Atiku Abubakar assures him of sending Buhari packing in 2019.
“I will remain here for 12 hours to show my discontent, and someone not less than Atiku must come here to assure me that this government must be sacked in the forthcoming election,” he said.
He blame Buhari for the poverty being witnessed in the country, advising him to give way for Atiku.
“Its time for Buhari to give way for someone like Atiku Abubakar to lead us out of the present hardship.”
