Flood Drowns Pastor While Trying To Protect Church Offerings

A Ghanaian pastor, Rev. Isaac Assiamah Arthur, has been confirmed dead after a heavy downpour in Apapam town, Kyebi region.

According to reports, Rev Arthur was drowned in a flood while trying to rescue church offerings from the water runoff.

It was gathered that the offerings which was gotten from the church’s 2-day mega crusade, were stored in bowls with the intention of taking it to bank the next day.

Unfortunately, a heavy downpour occurred, which resulted in the destruction of people’s home as well as the church.

In a bid to save the bowl from the flowing water, the pastor allegedly got drowned.

In the meantime, the police has began investigation while his body has been deposited at the morgue pending autopsy.
