No fewer than 124 Boko Haram terrorists, were on Wednesday, killed by the Nigerian and Chadian troops.
Seventy six of the terrorists were killed by the Nigerian troops while forty eight were neutralized by Chadian troops.
According to posts on the Nigerian Army Twitter, “seven soldier lost there lives while sixteen were wounded in the action.
“The Chief of army staff, Lt. General Buratai has commiserated with the families of the deceased and directed that the wounded be given adequate medical attention,” it added.
On the other hand, eight soldiers lost their lives on the Chadian side, said Chadian army spokesperson Azem Agouna.
Agouna said that the attack took place in Kaiga Kindji in the Lake Chad region early Wednesday.
He further disclosed that eleven (11) soldiers were wounded.
