The founder of ABC Transport and governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, Mr Frank Nneji, has lamented over the party’s decision to put forward Senator Ifeanyi Ararume as the winner of its guber primaries.
The party’s primary which were slated for 5th of October, were later shifted to 6th but yet could not hold.
It was gathered that about 10pm on October 7, the primaries held at a location different from official venue.
Also, report has it that no other aspirants as well as APGA State and National Officials were in attendance except Sen. Ararume and his supporters.
However, emerging reports suggest that the party has nominated Ararume as it sole candidate.
Reacting to the report, Mr Frank Nneji, in a press release on Tuesday, described the party’s decision as unfortunate.
Nneji wondered why a party believed in uplifting the interest of Igbos will be dragged down to such depth.
He, however, thanked his supporters for standing by him, while urging them to keep faith as thing unfold.
