Money Rains At The Venue Of PDP National Convention

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), will today, October 6, elect its presidential flag bearer for the 2019 general election.

The tussle for the presidential ticket is between the former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo.

Others are former Jigawa State Governors, Sule Lamido and Ibrahim Turaki, former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa, and former Minister of Education, Ibrahim Shekarau.

Already, party members have crowded the Adokie Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt, a venue for the party’s 2018 National Convention.

While the presidential aspirants are making their last effort to emerge winner, huge amount of money is reportedly being circulated.

According to reports, one of the contenders is allegedly lobbying party delegates with a cash sum of $5,000 each.
