My Disqualification News Is Fake – Kenneth Okonkwo

Nollywood actor and All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Enugu state, Kenneth Okonkwo, has denied the news of his disqualification from the party.

Recall that the actor was rumoured to have been disqualified from APC over his inability to purchase the party’s nomination form pegged at N22 million.

However, in his reaction, the actor described the hearsays as fake news.

He made this disclosure while speaking with Pulse on the alleged disqualification saga.

“My attention has been drawn to a lot of publications about me since the nomination process of our party APC.

“I want to state categorically that they are fake news,” he stated.

He further noted that he will make his position known at the appropriate time, while urging the general public to disregard any news that does not emanate from him.

“I have not made any statement or granted any interview, political or otherwise, to anybody since the beginning of the nomination process. At the appropriate time, I will make my position known.

“Kindly disregard and discountenance every statement credited to me as the work of mischief makers. Best regards and God bless.”
