The Chief Executive Officer of Arsenal Football Club, Ivan Gazidis, has resigned from the club.
Ivan made this decision known through a farewell speech published on the club’s website.
He stated that after 10 years, he deemed it right to step aside in order to allow for new leadership.
“Although it is very hard to do – the hardest decision of my life – I believe that, after 10 years, it is the right time for me to step aside to allow new leadership, energy and ideas to take the club forward into this exciting new era,” Ivan noted.
The statement further disclosed that Ivan will officially leave the club on October 31 for another club AC Milan.
Also, he is expected to take the same position of CEO in AC Milan.
