Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described President Muhammadu Buhari as an extremist whose Islamisation, northernisation and fulanisation policy has rendered him insensitive and incompetent.

The former minister took to his Facebook page to express his misgivings about the current leadership under Buhari.

According to him, Buhari’s policy has continued to divide Nigerian people and “destroy the unity of the nation.”

He noted that non of the presidential aspirants under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), would “happily preside over the genocide, mass murder and ethnic cleansing of Christians the way that Buhari has done.”

Fani-Kayode’s recent attack on the president may not be far from wanton killings, perceived marginalisation and clampdown on opposition, lopsided appointments, and disobedience to court orders among others undemocratic practices being witnessed in the current dispensation.

Meanwhile, recall that President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Mr Yusuf Bichi as the new Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS).

Expresgist had reported the appointment of Bichi as a replacement to Mr Matthew Seiyeifa, who was operating in acting capacity as the head of the secret service following the sacking of the former boss, Lawal Daura.

Bichi’s appointment, however, caused public uproar from many Nigerians especially from Southerners who described it as lopsided.
