No fewer than 10 passengers were on Wednesday, September 5, abducted by some members of the Boko Haram sect in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The Punch reports that the terrorists group hijacked travellers bus and kidnapped all passengers on board.
A witness identified as Musa, alleged that his uncle was among those abducted by the group.
He said: “Boko Haram attacked a commercial vehicle and abducted over 10 men and women onboard.
“My uncle was in the bus with other passengers when the incident occurred.”
This is coming few days after the sect allegedly attacked Army base, killing over 30 military men and carting away with weapons.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has insisted that no part of the country is under the control of the terrorist group.
Buhari stated this while recounting some of his administration success during an interactive session with Nigerians in Beijing China.
