The Anambra State police command has warned against the planned general strike in the South East and South South geopolitical zones, by the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB.

The strike which is scheduled to hold on September 14, according to IPOB, is to express anger over the killings of her members and disappearance of the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu, since September 14, 2017.

The group is also protesting alleged conspiracy by Igbo politicians and Ohaneze Ndigbo, as well as Operation Python Dance 3 scheduled to hold in the zone by the Nigerian Army.
