Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has once again slammed President Muhammadu Buhari.
Messrs Obasanjo lambast Buhari for a report which has it that a presidential aspirant was denied access to use Eagles Square for presidential declaration.
Recall that Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State was yesterday, August 29, denied access to use the Eagles Square Abuja for his presidential declaration.
According to reports, the Senator had gotten approval but lately denied less than 24 hours to the occasion.
The action attract condemnation from prominent Nigerians including the Senate president, Bukola Saraki and the opposition PDP under whose platform Kwakwanso is running.
Expressing his dissatisfaction, Obasanjo took to his twitter account to condemn the action.
He wondered why the same government which claimed to “belong to everybody and belongs to nobody” will deny a presidential aspirant access to use Eagle square that belongs to everybody.
Isn't it ironic that, under the government in which Its president stated "he belongs to everybody and belongs to nobody", a presidential aspirant was denied the access to use the Eagle Square – that belongs to everybody. I think the tyrant is finally revealing itself.
