U.S Senator, John McCain Dies At 81

Former U.S presidential aspirant and Senator representing Arizona, John Sidney McCain

The senator representing Arizona and former U.S Presidential aspirant John McCain has died.

McCain was reported died on the earlier hours of Sunday, August 26.

This is coming less than 72 hours after he stopped receiving cancer treatment.

A statement released from his office reads: “Senator John Sidney McCain III died at 4:25pm on August 25, 2018.

“With the senator when he passed were his wife Cindy and their family,” the statement added.

His wife Cindy McCain also confirmed the news in her twitter handle. She wrote “My heart is broken. I am so lucky to have lived the adventure of loving this incredible man for 38 years.

“He passed the way he lived, on his own terms, surrounded by the people he loved, in the place he loved best.”

John has been battling with brain tumour since 2017 after he was diagnosed of Glioblastoma.
