Deputy Speaker, Over 1000 APC Defect to PDP

The deputy speaker, Kaduna State House of Assembly, John Audu Kwaturu has defected from All Progressive Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Mr Audu who confirmed this through a phone call to Daily Trust, said “I have left the APC for the PDP, my reason for leaving the APC are stated in the letter to my Kwataru ward”.

He stated that the crises rocking the All Progressive Congress has deepened, adding that “even my ward chairman has left the APC”.

In similar development, over 1000 members of APC in Agbarha-Otor ward in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State have defected to PDP.

Speaking at the grand reception of the new members organized by the PDP in the area, the Local Government party chairman, Comrade Lawrence Agbatutu assured the new members that the party umbrella is big enough to accommodate them.
