Senate president Dr. Bukola Saraki and Kwara state governor Abdulfatah Ahmed have announced their defection from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Ahmed announced his resignation from the party few minutes after the senate president drop the bombshell through his twitter handle. He wrote: “Following due consultations and in response to calls by major stakeholders in the state, I have moved to the PDP because the APC can longer serve as a platform for achieving the aspirations and expectations of my people.”
Saraki, however said his resignation was after due consultations from Nigerians. Below is his tweet
